Kelly Clarkson came in like a “Wrecking Ball” on Friday night during her Piece by Piece concert stop in Indianapolis. In continuing the spirit of her recent string of covers, she tackled the Miley Cyrus hit and totally made it her own.

While Cyrus went the route of swinging naked on an actual wrecking ball in the music video, Clarkson utilized a more intimate setting. Accompanied by an acoustic guitar, she put her own spin on the music, highlighting her powerhouse voice and complimenting her higher runs with the softness of the instrument.

Clarkson previously put her mark on Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” and “Shake It Off,” *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye,” Nick Jonas’s “Jealous,” Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money,” and earlier this week she covered Tove Lo’s “Habits.” Watch video of her live performance below.
