Wayward Pines‘ Carla Gugino is set to replace the role previously occupied by Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks in Cameron Crowe’s upcoming Showtime pilot, EW has learned.

Hendricks’ role was recast “due to the complete revamp of the character,” a source close to the production said, although she and Crowe “loved working together.”

The pilot, titled Roadies, focuses on a rock tour through the eyes of the roadies. “Roadies is Cameron Crowe at his most musically passionate, colorful character best,” executive producer J.J. Abrams said in a 2014 statement about the show.

Gugino has most recently appeared in this year’s San Andreas and HBO’s The Brink
