Back in the early 2000s, Ja Rule and 50 Cent had a high-profile feud — and they’re still not on great terms, according to some Instagrams the two have posted recently.

It all started when Ja Rule referenced the ongoing Meek Mill and Drake beef with an Instagram caption alluding to his own: “Which one supposed to be Ja Rule???” he wrote. “#Over30millionrecordsSOLD #IwriteallmyS–t #MeekvsDrake.”

50 Cent later posted his own Instagram about Mill and Drake that seemingly had nothing to do with Ja Rule, although Ja again posted to social media relating the feud to his own. “If y’all wanna compare #meekvsdrake to 50vsRule I’m gonna need one of these n—as to get stabbed or shot!!!” he wrote Monday evening before clarifying, “All jokes aside I don’t wanna see those guys get hurt I like both of them keep it on wax but stop comparing it to other beefs…”

Hours later, 50 Cent posted an Instagram of Ja Rule with the caption, “Oh I herd what you said on the power 105 morning show, you f–king punk. Everybody know I put your ass to sleep.” He was referring to a 2014 interview Ja Rule had with the radio station where he described getting in a physical altercation with 50.

Then Tuesday afternoon, Ja Rule posted a GQ cover featuring 50 Cent along with a caption saying that “this ho has a lot of balls” (among other things).
