Giovanni Ribisi steals from Bryan Cranston in first Sneaky Pete trailer

(Amazon)

It’s never a good idea to steal from Walter White Bryan Cranston.

In the first trailer for Amazon’s Sneaky Pete — created by Cranston and David Shore (House) — Giovanni Ribisi plays a con man who steals his cellmate’s identity when he’s released from prison. He then begins working for his victim’s family.

Sneaky Pete, which was originally developed for CBS before the network passed and Amazon saved the day, also stars Margo Martindale, Libe Barer, Marin Ireland, Peter Gerety, and Shane McRae. The show is executive produced by Cranston, Shore, and Seth Gordon. And, of course, Cranston guest-stars, as we can see in the trailer.

Sneaky Pete will air its pilot on August 7 along with other Amazon series, and viewers will vote on whether the show gets a full series order.
