After an acclaimed run on Broadway, the Tony-nominated revival of On the Town will play its final performance on Sept. 6, following 28 previews and 368 regular performances.

The show began previews on Sept. 20, 2014 at the Lyric Theatre, and went on to earn four Tony Award nominations, including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Leading Actor in a Musical for Tony Yazbeck, who will join the show’s upcoming national tour launching this season.

John Rando and Joshua Bergasse’s colorful revival is the longest-running Broadway production of the show since the 1944 original (this year’s revival is the fourth production to play Broadway). The show stars Yazbeck, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Clyde Alves, Megan Fairchild, Alysha Umphress, Elizabeth Stanley, and Jackie Hoffman; the production will welcome Misty Copeland in the cast for 12 performances, from Aug. 25 through Sept. 6.
