Taylor Swift’s squad keeps growing and growing … and growing. Sir Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen have secured spots in the coveted group of supermodels, actresses, and pop stars.

“[Taylor’s’ coming to Los Angeles soon, so I’m hoping that we’re going to connect,” Stewart told PEOPLE at the premiere of his Starz show Blunt Talk. “I mean, Ian [McKellen] and I are in the squad now, so right on!”

The friendship sparked last month when both Stewart and McKellen performed dramatic readings of Swift’s lyrics. Stewart recited “Blank Space” on NPR’s Ask Me Another, and McKellen took on “Bad Blood” on Yahoo! Stewart then politely asked Swift if they could join “the squad.”

The answer was a resounding, “Duh.”
