Neil Patrick Harris appeared on The Late Late Show Wednesday night and reflected on his early days as an actor. When James Corden asked Harris if he’d ever seen reruns of Doogie Howser, M.D., Harris had some critiques of his younger self.

“It’s weird to watch because,” Harris began, going into a high-pitched voice to add, “I sound like I was in the Wizard of Oz or something,” he joked.

Harris continued that he noticed that all of his “s”s sounded like “sh”s on Doogie Howser, as if he was doing an impression of actor James Cagney.

“But finally my testicles dropped and I feel much better,” Harris affirmed for Corden.
