Sick of Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” yet?” Neither are we, but he’ll drop a new single “Levels” Aug. 21, which seems to have no relation to Avicii’s earworm by the same name.

“I have a ginormous announcement,” he said in a video. “I have a new single called ‘Levels.’ It comes out August 21 and I’ll be performing it for the first time at the VMAs pre-show.”

“Levels” is expected to appear on his next album, which Jonas teased to EW earlier this summer. “I’m coming with a new record at some point later this year or next year,” he said. “I feel like the next step is just going to be getting a collection of a few more songs and maybe repackaging the album. I still feel like there’s some life left on the record I released last year.”

Jonas is up for Best Male Video for “Chains” at the VMAs, which air Aug. 30 on MTV.
