Dark and grungey, it was recorded when the band first laid down Revolution, which was self-released in 1991. Per a release, the tape actually ran out just as the band finished “Playground.” The other two unreleased songs, “Ocean Song” and “Just Once,” were also recorded at the same time.
Frontwoman Kathleen Hanna told Rolling Stone, “For some reason we didn’t mix them. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t enough room on the cassette tape.”[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/216075543?secret_token=s-wGwBw" params="visual=true&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="450" iframe="true" /]
