Saturday Night Live has found a familiar musical guest to pair with host Miley Cyrus: Miley herself.
NBC announced Tuesday that the 22-year-old artist would perform in addition to hosting the 41st season premiere of SNL.
The news comes on the heels of Cryus’ controversial emcee gig at the MTV Video Music Awards, which saw her tangle with Nicki Minaj, suffer a brief wardrobe malfunction, and debut a new album. Given that record’s recent release, Cyrus playing tracks off the new LP — Miley Cyrus and her Dead Petz, a Flaming Lips collab — during SNL would not surprise.
Cyrus’ episode is set to air on Oct. 3. Other announced hosts for the month of October so far include Amy Schumer and the return of Tracy Morgan, making his first public comedic appearance since his June 2014 car accident.
