  • Jessica Pare (Mad Men, Brooklyn) and Jacob Tierney (This Is My Father, Laurence Anyways) are set to star in Lovesick. Tyson Caron is writing and directing the Canadian film, which tells the story of a depressed, thirty-something mural artist named Dash (Tierney) who starts soul searching following his ex’s (Pare) newfound engagement. Jay Baruchel will also appear in the film. [THR]
  • Peyton Kennedy, Kip Pardue, Gavin Macintosh, Rusty Schwimmer, Marci Miller, and Zuleikha Robinson have been cast as the leads in American Fable. Anne Hamilton is directing the indie thriller that’s currently in production, marking her directorial debut. The story follows a young girl played by Kennedy who must uncover the identity of a wealthy man that her father is keeping captive in their farm—and the reasons for his capture. [THR]
