Chris Pratt is remembering his late father, Dan Pratt, with a touching Twitter post he shared over Labor Day Weekend.

”Your to do list,” Pratt tweeted on Saturday. “1) have kids 2) play outside 3) teach them to fish 4) take pictures.” He concluded the tribute by posting an old photo of him and his brother, Cully, posing next to their dad and holding fishing poles. “Thanks Dad. Miss you man,” he wrote.

Pratt opened up about his father to GQ during an interview published in June. Dan Pratt suffered from multiple sclerosis for many years and died in 2014 while his son was filming Jurassic World. “I knew, being the lead in the movie, that I was really responsible for everybody’s attitude,” he told the magazine. “So I compartmentalized it all and dealt with it in my own way, but not openly for people to see. I got pretty angry and got drunk and almost got in a fight with a drug dealer outside of my hotel room.”

He described his father as “an old school kind of dad,” which he said was “actually a good thing.”

“In his own way he let me know that he was proud of me,” Pratt continued. “He didn’t really react in any way, one way or another, but he was definitely proud. If I was on TV, he watched everything I was in. So it felt like I was able to communicate with him through doing work that was on TV.”
