Queen Elizabeth II became Britain’s longest-reigning monarch on Wednesday, edging out her great-great-grandmother and the previous title holder, Queen Victoria. During the 23,227 days that she has spent as the country’s monarch, the royal has been a part of historic events, welcomed children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and rubbed elbows with dozens of famous friends.
