Almost Famous hits its 15th birthday Sunday (15!?!), and Cameron Crowe is feeling sentimental.

The past few days, the writer-director of the cinematic ode to ’70s rock has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos and asking people to divulge their personal memories of the film.

First, some Stillwater art.

Jason Lee, aka frontman Jefe Bebe, goes over the script (probably searching for the right amount of indignation).

Before she was in True Blood, Anna Paquin was a Band-Aid.

Three versions of Crowe: the 11-year-old, the 15-year-old, and himself.

And finally, Ms. Penny Lane (Kate Hudson) herself.

Yes, Almost Famous is turning 15. It’s all happening. Enjoy it, but be sure to be levelheaded and don’t take it, or yourself, too seriously.
