Taylor Swift officially adds an Emmy statuette to her squad

Taylor Swift became an Emmy Award winner (a.k.a. halfway to an EGOT) earlier this week, and now the hardware has officially joined her on tour.

“WHEN THEY OVERNIGHT YOU AN EMMY,” the singer wrote Saturday on Twitter. “I DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS A THING.”

Swift won her Emmy for Original Interactive Program for her AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience, which she starred in and also executive produced. The project was released after the debut of her “Blank Space” music video and allowed fans to explore the video’s set from all angles, via a 360-degree camera.

When the news was announced Thursday, Swift said she initially thought it was a prank but quickly found out otherwise.

More of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards are being handed out Saturday night. Head here for a list of the winners.
