The animals of Fantastic Mr. Fox are idiosyncratic, as Roald Dahl and Wes Anderson creations tend to be. Case in point: their newly revealed love of hip-hop, as demonstrated in a music video for Blacklicious’ brand new song, “The Blowup.”

The video (watch it above) features the stop-motion characters from the 2009 film, rapping along to the lead single off Blacklicious’ new album, Imani Vol. 1, out Friday. The video comes from Animal Robot, the creative force behind the horrifying Dinosaurs/Notorious B.I.G. mash-up and other such Internet gems.

Daniel Radcliffe did wonders to raise Blackalicious’ profile in October, when he rapped “Alphabet Aerobics” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. No word yet if Fantastic Mr. Fox star George Clooney was asked to do something similar in his recent Late Show appearance.

Catch the video above.
