Though Frank Underwood isn’t running for president in 2016 (he’s fictional, after all), that didn’t stop Kevin Spacey from revealing some crucial information about the character on Wednesday night’s episode of The Late Show.

After three seasons of House of Cards and numerous times breaking the fourth wall, Spacey told host Stephen Colbert who Frank Underwood was actually addressing — other than viewers on a “10-hour Netflix binge.”

“This is the truth from the very beginning,” Spacey said. “When I’m looking directly into that camera I’m talking to one person and one person only and that is…Donald Trump.”

Watch the clip below to see Spacey realize that many of the storylines on House of Cards aren’t as fabricated as he thought.
