After winning a Golden Globe for his work on Transparent, it’s no surprise that Jeffrey Tambor also took home an Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for playing Maura Pfefferman on the hit Amazon show.
Tambor dedicated his performance and his win to the transgender community. “Thank you for your patience, thank you for your courage, thank you for your stories, thank you for your inspiration, thank you for letting us be part of the change,” Tambor said onstage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday. “God bless you.”
