Rapper Fetty Wap was involved in a motorcycle accident in his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey, authorities said Saturday.
The 25-year-old was taken to a local hospital after his motorcycle collided with a car, Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale told the Associated Press. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation, the AP added, and no summonses have been issued. The woman driving the car was not injured.
The rapper’s DJ, Louis Styles, tweeted a photo Saturday letting fans know he was doing OK.
The accident came a day after the “Trap Queen” star, born Willie Maxwell, released his self-titled debut album.
