Carrie Underwood will be ringing in 2016 when she headlines Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, which kicks off Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET.

“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than New York’s Times Square, one of the most magical places in the world, to ring in the new year,” Underwood said in a statement. “It’s going to be a memorable night, and I can’t wait to celebrate with the world!”

A month after headlining the event — which featured Taylor Swift and Florida Georgia Line last year — Underwood will embark on her Storyteller tour, which supports her latest album by the same name. “I’m really excited to be able to get out on the road next year with it and play the new stuff,” Underwood told EW this summer. “I really feel like people are going to be able to relate to this album. We’ve explored different avenues, we’ve worked with different producers. I just wanted it to have a different feel and different sound altogether.” See the full list of tour dates on Underwood’s website.
