Desaparecidos frontman Conor Oberst fell ill during a stop in Jacksonville, Florida, causing the band to cancel the remainder of their U.S. tour.

According to a press release, Oberst — also associated with acts like Bright Eyes and Monsters of Folk — “was briefly hospitalized due to laryngitis, anxiety, and exhaustion” and is returning to Nebraska to recover.

The tour, which kicked off June 25 in New York, was the band’s first since 2002 (although they did hit the road for a few select dates in 2012). See the full list of canceled dates below.
