Freak Show just got a little more star power. Abigail Breslin and Laverne Cox will appear in the film based on James St. James’ best-selling book of the same name, EW can confirm.

Orange is the New Black’s Cox has signed on for a cameo role, which according to The Hollywood Reporter, will see her as a reporter named Felicia Watts. Breslin, who currently stars on Scream Queens, will play the main character’s enemy, Lynette.

Bette Midler, AnnaSophina Robb, Larry Pine, and Ian Nelson also star in the movie about a gay student trying to fit in at a conservative new school. Beth Rigazio and PJ Clifton adapted the book, and Trudie Styler is making her feature directorial debut.

Freak Show is currently filming in New York and set for a 2016 release.
