Alicia Keys, Ethan Hawke, and former footballer Tiki Barber are some of the celebrities that braved the chilly post-Halloween air in running the New York City Marathon.

“Today is the big day,” Keys wrote on Instagram, citing the charity she’s running to support, Keep A Child Alive. Hawke and his wife Ryan ran for The Doe Fund, which supports those struggling with addiction and homelessness, and Barber ran for the inner city youth charity The PitCCh in Foundation.

Hawke finished with a time just over 4 hours and 25 minutes, while Keys finished just under 5 hours and 51 minutes, and Barber finished under 4 hours and 50 minutes. Others who participated include 30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden (4 hours, 19 minutes), Catfish’s Nev Schulman (3 hours, 34 minutes), and tennis pro James Blake (3 hours, 51 minutes).

Actor Sean Astin was set to run, as well, but he pulled out a few days earlier due after participating in the Iron Man World Championship Triathlon. “My right foot has grown a minor cluster of blisters in the center of the foot pad, making it completely inadvisable for me to run in the New York City Marathon on November 1,” he wrote on the Run3rd charity’s website on Saturday. “I pray that I’ll be able to participate in that Classic event in a year’s time.”
