Lil Wayne has announced his next mixtape, No Ceilings 2. The tape, nominally a sequel to 2009’s No Ceilings, appears likely to drop on Thanksgiving. No Ceilings 2 will be his 24th mixtape and first since January’s Sorry 4 the Wait 2.

The 33-year-old rapper has already had a big year. Wayne released his Free Weezy Album in July as a TIDAL exclusive, which drew legal scrutiny from his label Cash Money Records. Despite filing a lawsuit against Lil Wayne — and later being implicated in a conspiracy to kill him — Cash Money head Birdman has expressed stayed positive about the star rapper.
“You never thought Wayne would be saying nothing negative about me in no lifetime,” Birdman said in July. “I never thought that could ever happen — for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me. I love my son. He mean the world to me. For that man to say something negative about me, that affected my life.”
