Skrillex and Deadmau5 are still fighting on Twitter. In a series of tweets alluding to earlier disagreements between the two, Skrillex criticized Deadmau5’s label and leadership skills, adding, somewhat mystifyingly, that he “never responds” to Deadmau5.

“I dont care bout ur personal career but the fact that u own ur own record label is sad.I feel sorry the artists you’ve signed,” Skrillex tweeted Sunday. “youre great at finding talented people but ur leadership skills are atrocious. I’m sure you don’t care tho. so the reason I’ve tweeted about Deadmau5 is because I want you all to know I’ve never bitched out. I never respond to his [poop emoji]. I’m forever grateful for the mau5’s early support but the reality is sad. He’s shriveling In his own pile of hatful [sic] [five poop emoji].”

Deadmau5 eventually responded “Can I go to bed now?” Skrillex tweeted back, “yes good night you sad old washed up asshole,” with a picture of his Halloween costume, to which Deadmau5 defended his label and the independence of its artists. “you can ignore bullying but at some point you have to stand up for yourself and your friends,” Skrillex tweeted.

The public bad blood between the two began in late June, when Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, tweeted: “made the mistake of listening to this jack u s–t with bieber assuming they at least did something cool… nope. what the f–k is this s–t?” Skrillex, whose real name is Sonny Moore, responded on New York’s 92.3 Amp Radio in August, commenting that he’ll “always have love for Joel because he put me on at an early time, but he’s an asshole. And everyone knows that, and he knows that. And that’s kinda his thing.”

Deadmau5 tweeted that he is “aware that i can be a f–king diva. yes i am aware than i have more than one complex. very f–king aware.”

Deadmau5 and Skrillex are just the latest musicians to feud in a year that’s also included beefs between Drake and Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus, and Patrick Carney and Jack White.
