See the Freaks and Geeks reunion that got cut from Vacation

Once upon a time, Vacation director John Francis Daley tantalized fans that the summer reboot of the road-romp comedy would deliver a special Freaks and Geeks reunion. But to see it, fans will need to purchase the new Blu-ray when it arrives on Nov. 3.

In a deleted scene from the movie, Martin Starr and Samm Levine play buzzed revelers at a Burning Man style festival. Rusty (Ed Helms) and his family are desperate for some gas after their new-model family truckster ran out of fumes. Fortunately, there’s gasoline to be had; unfortunately, combustible-engine vehicles are not exactly welcome in this crunchy, totally-zonked crowd. The scene has fire, a sea-shell suit, and a trippin’ dad with “10,000 years of secrets” (Rob Huebel). It’s total mayhem.
