Broadway's Aladdin stars jazz up Ed Sheeran in Disney Sessions video — exclusive

You might have never imagined you’d hear “Thinking Out Loud” as a sultry jazz tune…until you’ve heard it sung by Broadway actors Courtney Reed and Adam Jacobs. The duo, who originated the roles of Jasmine and Aladdin on Broadway and are currently starring in the hit Disney production, recently performed a duet of the Ed Sheeran hit for Disney Sessions — a series that produces original content featuring Broadway talent performing from their own shows, as well as popular hits.

Made by Oh My Disney, the sessions feature video performances of Disney’s brightest voices from, ranging from Broadway, Hollywood Records, Walt Disney Records, Maker Studios, Disney Channel, and more. Past series have featured performances from artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, Lucy Hale, Laura Marano, as well as the Broadway casts of Newsies, The Lion King and Aladdin.

Watch Reed and Jacobs put a spin (and charm) on a radio hit as they debut their rendition of “Thinking Out Loud,” exclusively on EW.
