Season 2 of Empire has been filled with guest stars, and next week, Alicia Keys will join the list that already includes her husband Swizz Beats, Becky G, and Chris Rock. Ahead of Keys’ Empire debut, Essence premiered the song she and Jamal (Jussie Smollett) will perform together on the Nov. 25 episode.

Titled “Powerful,” the soulful ballad features the two singers asking for change. “We won’t just stand here in silence,” Smollett cries, while Keys calls for an end to racism and violence.
