Jennifer Lawrence on Mockingjay press tour: 'They pushed this show pony too far'

(TBS)

Jennifer Lawrence has traveled all over the world as part of the press push for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, and the actress told Conan O’Brien that the extended voyage took its toll.

“They pushed this show pony too far,” she joked on Thursday’s episode of Conan.

As Lawrence told O’Brien, she was not able to get much sleep during the press tour, which took Lawrence and her Hunger Games costars to Berlin, London, Paris, Los Angeles, and New York, among other major cities. “The best night of sleep on the whole tour I got was on the plane, and it was about 12 hours,” she said. Unfortunately, that rest came with a price: Lawrence was so excited to get into bed that she dislocated her own toe by hitting her opposite foot.

“That can happen,” she told O’Brien, before video of her bed celebration played on the host’s show. “It’s purple.”
