The Voice is heading to ITV after calling BBC its home since it began airing in 2012 — and it’s adding a spin-off: The Voice Kids.

“ITV is the natural home of big entertainment so we are thrilled that The Voice and The Voice Kids are both joining our family alongside brilliant shows like The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway, and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here,” Peter Fincham, ITV’s director of television, said in a statement.

This news means Simon Cowell’s The X Factor, another singing competition show, will now share a network with competitor The Voice. But not in the near future: Both The Voice and The Voice Kids — which ITV2 gave a three-season commitment to — will launch on ITV in 2017.
