[SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you have already watched Wednesday’s episodes of Survivor: Cambodia—Second Chance.]
It was two big blindsides for the price of one Wednesday night on Survivor: Cambodia Second Chance as CBS aired two episodes back to back and each came complete with twists galore. When all was said and done, Ciera and Stephen were voted out, but only after some dramatic Tribal Council fireworks.
The first hour was dominated by misery as a days-long torrential downpour brought several contestants to what they said was a personal low of their entire life. Chief among the sufferers was Stephen, who was also dealing with “gastrointestinal distress” and major foot issues. The weather was so bad that 8 out of the 10 contestants opted out of competing for immunity in exchange for an improved shelter. As a result, Joe beat Keith for his fourth straight immunity victory.
The plan was to vote out Stephen, but Jeremy shocked everyone by playing one of his two idols for Fishbach, saving him and sending Ciera to the jury instead. Even Stephen was surprised by the move. But the stay of execution was only temporary.

Even though Stephen won the next reward challenge — a nighttime throwback folklore challenge where host Jeff Probst told a local tale and contestants tried to remember as much as they could while running to stations to answer correctly — that meant further alienating the rest of the tribe when he picked Tasha and Jeremy (instead of them) to join him.
Fishbach used the vote steal advantage to send his nemesis Joe home (reveling in the moment while using Joe’s vote to vote for … Joe), but it was not enough because he, Jeremy, Tasha, and Kimmi split their votes while Spencer flipped to give the other group a new majority. Bye-bye, Stephen.
