If you’re one of those people who loves to watch the Super Bowl for the commercials, then CBS has two specials coming up that you won’t want to miss. Both Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2016 and Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials All-Star Countdown will air prior to Super Bowl 50 to look back on the best ads that have premiered during the last half-century of Super Bowls, and look forward at some of the commercials of Super Bowl 50.
First up, Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2016 will air Tuesday, Feb. 2 from 8–10 p.m. ET, and will count down the 50 best Super Bowl commercials of the last 50 years. The special will be hosted by CBS Sports analyst Boomer Esiason and Scorpion star Katharine McPhee, who will reveal the rankings decided upon by a team of Time Inc.’s top editors and writers. The top two spots, however, will be decided by viewers, and the top two commercials will be posted on CBS.com at the beginning of the broadcast, allowing anyone to vote for their favorite.
