Bravo's Recipe For Deception is a cooking competition for really good liars

(Nicole Weingart/Bravo)

While the holidays might’ve taken over baking shows for the time being, Bravo will add a devious competition to the mix in the new year. Max Silvestri hosts, and Chris Oh and Jonathan Waxman join as judges on Recipe For Deception, a competition as much about lying as it is about cooking.

Recipe For Deception will feature four chefs competing in three head-to-head elimination rounds each episode. The chefs will be tasked with creating a dish based on a main ingredient that will remain a mystery while cooking.

Competing chefs will then have three chances to ask yes or no questions to figure out the secret ingredient, and the answers will include two truths and a lie. Eliminated chefs will have an opportunity to compete again for the $10,000 prize by revealing information about the unknown ingredient.
