Adele dominates BBC Music Awards

It’s been less than a month since the release of 25 and Adele’s awards are already rolling in.

Adele was named the British Artist of the Year at the BBC Music Awards Thursady, and picked up a win for Best Live Performance for her BBC special, Adele at the BBC, which aired last month.

The 27-year-old singer—who was unable to attend the ceremony—sent a message, saying, “That’s amazing. I’ve only just put out new music. I’m so chuffed.”

Taylor Swift was also honored at the event, where she won International Artist of the Year. Irish crooner Hozier snagged Song of the Year with his 2014 hit “Take Me To Church.”
