Blindspot casts Hannibal alum in recurring role

Hannibal alum Aaron Abrams has joined Blindspot in a recurring role opposite Zapata, EW has learned exclusively.

When the NBC drama returns from winter hiatus, Abrams (no relation) will play a driven Assistant U.S. Attorney who develops a relationship with Agent Zapata (Audrey Esparza).

The actor, whose credits also include NCIS: Los Angeles and CSI: Cyber, will recur starting in mid-March.

Blindspot returns Monday, Feb. 29 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
