Kids at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles got a visit from a galaxy far, far away this week.

As part of Star Wars’  Force For Change initiative, which uses the franchise to support and raise awareness for charities around the world, Luke Skywalker himself (a.k.a. Mark Hamill) visited young patients at the hospital with R2-D2, Darth Vader, and more.

“Thank YOU Children’s Hospital Los Angeles!” Hamill wrote on Facebook. “Feeling the pure joy and exuberance of those children up close and personal is a gift to cherish.”

The Force For Change initiative includes visits to eight hospitals around the country, where kids can meet some of the series’ most famous characters, with Jedi masters on hand to teach them all about mastering the Force.

Watch the video of Hamill’s appearance — which the hospital captioned, “Still smiling, our kids are” — below.
