Paul McCartney joins Bruce Springsteen, SNL cast on 'Santa Claus is Comin' to Town'

(NBC)

The last SNL episode of 2015 ended with a massive Christmas extravaganza. The cast, including hosts Tina Fey and Poehler, joined musical guests Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on stage to sing “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” with Paul McCartney as an added surprise.

The former Beatles bassist strolled out with sleigh bells in his hand. Springsteen hinted at a McCartney Christmas cameo after tweeting a photo from backstage and writing, “Got a few surprises in store for #SpringsteenSNL tonight…and make sure to stay up for the end credits.” Bobby Moynihan commemorated the occassion with an SNL cast selfie posted to Twitter.
