The People’s Choice Awards —  which allows fans to vote for their favorites in movies, TV, and music — has the first say in 2016 accolades. Here’s everything you need to know about the 42nd annual show:

What time are the People’s Choice Awards?

The People’s Choice Awards will air live Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS, from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. West Coast viewers can tune in for the delayed broadcast at 9 p.m. PT. Subscribers to CBS All Access can also watch (the service offers users a free one-week trial).

Who’s hosting?

Jane Lynch, the former Glee breakout and lead of CBS’s upcoming comedy Angel from Hell; it debuts Thursday.

Who are some of the presenters?

Among those confirmed to present are Vin Diesel, Britney Spears, Christina Milian, Clark Gregg, Connor Franta, Dakota Johnson, Gina Rodriguez, Jack Black, John Stamos, Kate Hudson, Lea Michele, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Benoist, Natalie Dormer, Priyanka Chopra, Raza Jaffrey, the Pink Ladies of Grease: Live (Carly Rae Jepsen, Julianne Hough, Keke Palmer, Kether Donohue, and Vanessa Hudgens), and more.

Who will be performing?

Shawn Mendes and Jason Derulo are the only confirmed performers.

Are there any special awards and honorees?

Ellen DeGeneres will be the fourth recipient of Favorite Humanitarian for her work helping communities in need and raising awareness. The talk show host selected St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as the beneficiary of the annual donation presented by Walgreens.
