J.K. Rowling tweeted a heartbreaking tribute to the late rock legend David Bowie, who died late Sunday night after an 18-month battle with cancer.

“I wish he could have stayed on earth [sic] longer,” Rowling wrote. She also included a screenshot of Bowie’s now-prophetic lyrics to his just-released song “Lazarus”: “Look up here, I’m in heaven / I’ve got scars that can’t be seen / I’ve got drama, can’t be stolen / Everybody knows me now.”

Rowling also included a snapshot of the song’s sad, but ultimately uplifting conclusion:

“Oh, I’ll be free
Just like that bluebird
Oh, I’ll be free
Ain’t that just like me?”
