The ongoing saga of Jessica Chastain’s grandmother’s missing dog has a happy ending: After the actress posted a plea on Instagram a few days ago for help locating the missing pooch, Chastain has since announced that her grandma and her beloved Livvy have been reunited.

Chastain first turned to social media three days ago asking for any information about her grandmother’s dog, writing that Livvy was stolen from a McDonald’s in Vallejo, Calif.

But fortunately, Chastain posted a new update just a few days later with good news.

“Livvy is FOUND!!!!!” she wrote on Instagram. “My grandma picked her up a couple hours ago. Thank you to each and every one of you that spread the word and put attention on this. I truly believe you all are the guardian angels that reunited these 2 beauties.”

Interestingly, this isn’t even the first time this weekend that a celebrity has turned to social media for help locating something he or she lost. During yesterday’s New York City blizzard, Mark Ruffalo tweeted that he’d lost his phone and wallet, but two good Samaritans turned them in. Guess if you’re going to misplace something, it helps to have a few hundred thousand Twitter followers to help you look.
