Brooklyn Nine-Nine is getting in League with someone very familiar/funny.

Fox’s cop comedy has cast Jason Mantzoukas in a recurring role, EW has learned exclusively. The League vet will surface as Adrian Pimento, a police offer who returns to the Nine-Nine after an absurdly long undercover mission — more than a decade. Jake (Andy Samberg) is obviously impressed and excited about the prospect of partnering up with Pimento, but let’s just say that living a double life for that many years does a number on your mental health.

Mantzoukas — whose recent TV credits include Community, Transparent, and Parks and Recreation (a show that was overlorded by Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-creator Michael Schur) — will begin his four-episode arc on Brooklyn in the spring. He can be seen on the big screen in the just-released Dirty Grandpa and next month’s How To Be Single.

Tuesday’s episode of Brooklyn will include a guest spot by Scream Queens star Niecy Nash.
