Zayn Malik cancels first solo TV appearance

The singer was set to appear on 'The Graham Norton Show'

Zayn Malik has canceled his first solo TV appearance due to “scheduling conflicts.” 

The former One Direction singer was set to appear on Friday’s episode of BBC One’s The Graham Norton Show as he begins promo rounds for his as-yet-untitled debut solo album, due for a March release. “Pillowtalk,” the debut single, drops Friday

“Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts with recording commitments, Zayn’s appearance on Graham Norton has been postponed,” said Malik’s rep in a statement. “Zayn has confirmed that he would love to appear on the show at a later date.”

Though this would mark Malik’s first solo TV spot, the singer has graced the covers of Fader and Billboard in the U.S., and The Sunday Times in the U.K. He is not yet scheduled for any other TV appearances.
