Coldplay debut 'Hymn for the Weekend' music video starring Beyoncé

Coldplay debuted the music video for “Hymn for the Weekend,” the second single off A Head Full of Dreams.

Featuring Chris Martin and Beyoncé, who adds vocals to the track, the video features the band in the streets of Mumbai. Martin sings atop buildings and sits in a movie theater while Queen Bey plays the angelic star.

The video — shot on location in India’s most populous city — comes just over a week before Coldplay takes the stage for the halftime show at Super Bowl 50. Rumors have circulated that Beyoncé will join the group for the show. “There are always guests,” show director Hamish Hamilton told EW. “I don’t see why this show would be different.”

The band announced a seven-date North American tour in support of A Head Full of Dreams Thursday, kicking off at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium July 16. Before coming to the U.S., Martin and Co. will stop in Latin America and Europe beginning with two shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 31 and April 1.

There’s been no word yet on whether or not Beyoncé will stop by any dates on the tour, but you can see Bey do her thing with Coldplay in the “Hymn for the Weekend” video, above.
