Idris Elba was one of the biggest winners at last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, earning both best supporting actor for his role in Beasts of No Nation and best actor in a limited series for Luther. And after the ceremony came to a close, Elba took to social media to celebrate his first-ever SAG wins.

“You wait for one bus and TWO come along at the same time,” Elba wrote on Twitter. “Life innit.”

Elba also shared a photo on Instagram of his two new SAG statuettes, writing, “Me and my boys out celebrating last night.”

This year marked the first time Elba was nominated for a solo acting SAG Award. Previously, he was nominated in 2008 as part of an ensemble for Ridley Scott’s American Gangstser.

Elba’s best supporting actor win means that he was the only one of this year’s SAG film winners not to also earn a nomination at the Oscars. Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, and Alicia Vikander, who all won a SAG Award in the film acting categories, are also up for an Oscar.
