Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions are preparing to unleash God Particle. The sci-fi thriller is scheduled to open Feb. 24, 2017, in wide release, the companies announced Tuesday.

Set in the near future aboard a space station, the film follows a team of astronauts who make a terrifying discovery that challenges everything they know about the fabric of reality and forces them to fight for their lives.

Nigeria-born filmmaker Julius Onah (The Girl Is in Trouble) is directing the film, which was initially developed under Paramount’s low-budget InSurge label (since shuttered). Oren Uziel wrote the script, which was recently worked on by Doug Jung (Star Trek Beyond). Cast members have yet to be named.

God Particle currently has its release date to itself. The movie is slated to arrive a week after Maze Runner: The Death Cure and Bad Boys 3.
