Star Wars villain Darth Maul takes center stage in new fan film

Darth Maul, the villain from Star Wars’ Episode I - The Phantom Menace is getting his time in the spotlight in a new fan-made film released on YouTube by T7 Production.

“Darth Maul: Apprentice - A Star Wars Film” was written, directed, and edited by Shawn Bu, while Vi-Dan Tran worked on the impressive choreography.

“We worked incredibly hard on this film for almost two years,” read a statement attached to the film. “We always felt that Darth Maul should have had more screen time. So we wanted to create a film just for him with the best lightsaber fights we could do!”
