ABC has canceled Of Kings and Prophets after two episodes, EW has confirmed.
The Biblical drama debuted to 3.33 million viewers and a 0.8 in the 18–49 demographic, well below the debut of the short-lived Wicked City in the same time slot in the fall. Prophets dropped to 2.42 million and 0.5 in its second outing.

Of Kings and Prophets was initially slated to air in the fall, but was pulled from the schedule and replaced by Quantico, which moved from Tuesday to Sunday nights ahead of its debut. Beginning Tuesday, March 22, Beyond the Tank will replace Prophets for the remainder of the season.
The series, which EW graded a C+, was an epic Biblical saga of faith, ambition and betrayal as told through the eyes of a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet, and a resourceful young shepherd on a collision course with destiny.
No word on whether ABC will eventually run the unaired episodes as the show’s future elsewhere is being evaluated.
