How well do you remember She's The Man?

Test your knowledge of the rom-com on its 10th anniversary.

Ten years ago Wednesday, Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum hit the big screen in She’s The Man. The young stars played Viola Hastings and Duke Orsino, respectively, two high school students who end up on the same soccer team after a bit of tomfoolery.

A reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, She’s the Man takes twins Viola and Sebastian off of Shakespeare’s shipwreck and onto the soccer field. Viola impersonates her brother Sebastian (James Kirk) after her soccer program gets cut, resorting to wearing a wig in order to pretend to be Sebastian at a new school in order to continue playing.

A cult favorite amongst viewers, She’s the Man was early exposure for Tatum, who would go on to appear in Step Up, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, The Vow, 21 Jump Street, and, of course, Magic Mike. The rom-com also saw Bynes at an exciting time. The former child star wrapped her starring role in What I Like About You the same year, after rising to fame with Nickelodeon’s All That and The Amanda Show.
