Joining the list of celebrities endorsing Donald Trump for president is Happy Days star Scott Baio. The actor went on Fox News to explain his stance to Judge Jeanine Pirro

“It’s very simple,” he began. “Because when he speaks I understand him. He speaks like I speak.”

The longtime conservative, who supported Mitt Romney and Scott Walker in the past, said he’s “fed up” with the Republican party. “I’m done with them, I’m done with the Republicans. They’ve lied and conned and B.S.-ed me for a very long time now.”

Now considering himself to be “a conservative independent,” Baio continued, “Listen, they’re going to attack whomever the Republican nominee is. And we need somebody to relentlessly, relentlessly attack Hillary, and that’s the only way we’re gonna win, because this getting above the fray and not getting in the dirt and ‘we’re better than that,’ it doesn’t work anymore. But to win elections nowadays, the Democrats and liberals attack viciously.”

Baio joins the likes of Stephen Baldwin, Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson, and Gary Busey in support of Trump. Elsewhere, Miley Cyrus, George Clooney, Louis C.K., John Oliver, Trainwreck director Judd Apatow, and more have all had some harsh words for the candidate.
