After donning Han Solo’s famous vest last year for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Harrison Ford will be pulling out Indiana Jones’ fedora and whip for a fifth installment in the character’s franchise — and, like a giant boulder, he’s ready to get rolling.
During an appearance on Monday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ford told late-night host Jimmy Kimmel he’s excited to re-team with Steven Spielberg and play Dr. Jones again.
But maybe not rolling right away. When Kimmel mentioned the news and the audience cheered, Ford waved his hand and joked, “Not now.” But, he added, “I’ll be ready. I’m excited about it.”

“The opportunity to work with Steven again, and the chance to revisit this character which has brought pleasure to so many people — not to mention me,” he added. “It’s great fun to play this character, it’s great fun to work with Steven. I’m looking forward to it. “
The fifth Indiana Jones film has a release date set for July 19, 2019. Watch him discuss it below.
Ford was also on Kimmel to promote the DVD/Blu-ray release for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which arrives April 5. Watch above to hear him discuss a conversation with director J.J. Abrams about deleted scenes included in the home release.
